Welcome to Rookwood School

Founded over 85 years ago and nestled on an eight-acre site just a short walk from Andover in Hampshire, Rookwood School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for pupil aged from 2 to 18.

As a non-selective school our philosophy is not about reaching potential, it is about growing potential: giving our pupils the opportunities and encouragement to help them understand that they can achieve much more than they first realise. Rookwood’s motto, sapere aude, translated as ‘dare to know’, is clearly seen in everything we do.
